Emma Aldridge

Emma manages the platform review programme at TopPulse and owns the methodology that keeps every review comprehensive, comparable and fair. She spent five years at Which?, the UK's largest consumer advocacy organisation, testing and reviewing financial products against a fixed rubric, then moved to Hargreaves Lansdown to work on client-facing research and platform comparison tools. She brings the consumer-testing discipline of both to crowdlending: the same questions asked of every platform, the same evidence required before a claim stands, and no allowance for a good story in place of a track record. At TopPulse she structures each review, checks that the verdict matches the evidence in the body, and makes sure the sources block cites primary documents rather than the platform's own marketing. Emma studied Journalism at the University of Sheffield.
